The gardens of Moscow

As part of a dendrology specialization, we were able to visit the city parks of Moscow, forming its green system. Despite the sub-zero temperatures and the snowing, the color of Larix sybirica (Siberian larch) in winter is incomparable. The species is one of the very few coniferous species which leaves fall in the winter season (needles).  The wood is of excellent quality and allows the wide use for everything outdoor - parquet furniture (pergolas, trellises, benches), as well as facade lining, casings.
